2CV6 Charleston 1980-1990
The Charleston started as a special series,
but it was such a succes that they continued making this two tone car in
bordeaux-red and black. Later came also the yellow-black and the gry-black
version. The picture is from the first series which had square headlights.
Later that changed into chromed circular.
Coupé de Pontac Salon Paris 1957
On the annual Car exhibition in Paris in
1957 this 2CV-based "dreamcar" was presented, the coach had the same design
as the dress!, a dream or a nightmare?
the pricetag said: FRF 1.900.000, but
that were "old francs".
2CV Pop 1973
This study for a deluxe version of the
2CV was made in 1973. The bonnet (hood) and the back were made more nostalgic,
and looked like the Traction Avant.
The top of the coach sides and the roof
are covered with "leather".
The car just remained a study, so 2CV owners
had to beautify their 2CV themselves.
2CV in advertising
This yellow one was used in Holland in
advertisements for "Nevada" wool, about 1977. Most people know it from
the jigsaw-puzzle that was made of it's picture from above, with a beautiful
woman sticking her head out of the roof.

This yellow 2CV played a role in an escape
scene in the James Bond movie "For your eyes only". For use in the film
it had the chassis and 4 cylinder engine of the Ami Super. They used 3
different 2CV's for all scenes.
