| This jigsaw puzzle is
one in a series of 4 that were given away by Citroën France at the
end of 1981 as a new year's gift.
The puzzle is made from Paul Gauguin's painting "Tahitian Mountains" (1891), which you can admire at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and the 2CV was added by Philippe Pétré. The size of the original puzzle is: 176 x 176 mm. |
| This jigsaw puzzle was
edited by W. Heye Verlag GmbH Germany, © 1986 J.J. Loup. The name
of the puzzle is "Café de la Paix". In the trafic before the café's
terace we see a blue 2CV.
The size of the original puzzle is: 305 x 504 mm and has 500 pieces. Special thanks to Ruud Hoetmer (NL) who send me the pictures! |
| Bob McLeod (from Stittsville
Ontario Canada) is a 2CV fan from Canada, who lived in France for a year.
He also has a Citroën jigsaw puzzle. The puzzle is 500 pieces, in
black and white (I had never realized how hard a puzzle is in black and
white!).
The original size is 36 x 50 cm. It was a commercially available item, titled "Souvenir, souvenir", in the "Coup de coeur" series from the Nathan company. The catalogue number was 551273, and it is copyright 1992, Jeux Nathan S.A. Bob and his son Scott sent the scan of the completed puzzle. |
| This puzzel shows a happy family in their garden, the 2CV seems to belong there too. The 2CV is a French model made in between 1960 and 1964, so the puzzel must be from about the same time. This was e-mailed to me some time ago by Mr. Rooderkerk. I don't know a bout the original size of the puzzle, but it should not have been to difficult concerning the number of pieces. |
| This jigsaw puzzle was
given away as promotion for Nevada knittingwool in 1977 in The Netherlands,
maybe also in other countries, because the text is:
Nevada breiwol strickwolle knittingwool laine à tricoter Copyright: Leidsche Wolspinnerij N.V., Leiden - Holland The size of the original puzzle is: 271 x 380 mm. (This scan covers about 90% of the puzzle, my scanner was not big enough!) |
