TPV1: the 2CV prototype without bonnet and headlamps.
  • Motor type MO 62, No 00064, with an alloy sump
  • Gearbox No 9 x 35 00053
  • Chassis reference R 102, with paint on the left hand side of the chassis
  • Has figures 68 chalked on the apron
  • Has letter L painted in white on the top corner of the windscreen
  • 2 Plates are fixed to the right front chassis longeron; the first has ELV 1944 and the second 1A 00 01. This establishes this to be the first example presented for homologation on 28th August 1939. However on that occasion it had engine No. QB 00023. (As a comparison the prototype found in 1968 has engine type MO 62 No QB 00058, with the sump in cast iron and a chassis plate with the number 1A 00 07)
