2CV (AU/AZU) ambulance
| Next advertisement shows the items you need to make an ambulance out of a simple 2CVcamionette, like the AU and later AZU. "Strapontin" is the folding seat behind the drivers seat. Together with the brancard you could buy this set then for 1110 French francs (new francs). Should be now about € 170, but in those days the money was worth much more! Also note that on the picture the rear part of the van has side windows which were not standard. |
| Beneath you'll see the standard AZU, and now you know why on the photo above the right front seat has been removed.... otherwise only a child could make use of this "ambulance". |
