GIFA is part of the Heuliez
group and converts for over 25 years normal cars into ambulances in their
workshop in Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre. A number of these are Citroëns,
in many variaties.
Capella
The GIFA "Capella" can be based on the
Citroën Jumpy.

Agena
The
GIFA "Agena" can be based on the Citroën Jumper. The Jumper offers
more space thane the Jumpy!
Export
The
GIFA "Export" is another Jumper based variant. The interior is different.
Procyon
Because of the end of Xantia production
in France I don't think this GIFA "Procyon" is made any more. The "Procyon"
was based on the powerfull Xantia 2.1L HDI 110cv
Quasar
And
the succesor of the Xantia ambilance is the C5 of course, by GIFA named
Quasar. The lenght for the patient on the brancard is 1,965 m, so very
long patients must be patient untill a Jumper arrives..... On the other
hand: the hydractive suspension is very comfortable!
