| One of the people that presents the weather-report
on Dutch TV is Peter Timofeeff.
Peter also made TV-commercials for the
Ducht governement to make people aware how to live with the water. Also
comics were made that are placed in daily newspapers. In one of these a
2CV acts.

It'raining more often... and more!

Peter: While there are more pavements all the time | Peter:
That's the reaseon why the water cannot disappear into the ground at heavy
rainfall. De drains overflow and streets and cellars become inundated.
she: Peterrr! |
| Peter: That's why cities widen canals and moats. And they build new ones. | Peter: It's looking nice also. This way superfluous water in the city can be catched better. And in dry periods the watershortage is less. |
| Peter: But you can do your share. For instance take a water-butt. Then your garden will not become a lake immediately. | Peter:
Later you can sprinkle your garden with that water. Or wash your car. This
way we keep Nederland safe and dry.
